For A Diva, The Grass Is Always Greener On St. Patty’s

St. Patty’s Day is almost here, and resto specials city-wide are set to save you from dipping too deep into your pot o’ gold.  Rest assured; these rainbows steer clear of leering leprochauns.

At Ghiradelli Square, Irish cocktails freely flow at McCormick & Kuleto’s happy hour – just try the Peppermint Patty!  We’re sure as shamrock you’ll like their mini corned beef and cabbage empanadas, and you know you’ll be in the right place for dessert.  Chocolate doesn’t count when it’s a holiday, right?

If Berkeley’s your locale, then limerick it up at Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto with traditional Irish fare all day long.  Bagpipers and best kilt contests are sure to make you dance an Irish jig.  Plus, the proceeds from paper shamrock sales are donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Not a cabbage lover, but still want to celebrate?  Find your four-leaf clover at Ike’s Place, located in the Castro and Redwood City.  Festive options are aplenty, but their super-secret sauce – on any sandwich – will keep a Diva finger-licking.  Just be sure to call in your order beforehand… According to 1500+ Yelp reviews, lines are long for a reason.

Going green never sounded so good.
