SF’s Summer Divas Dine Out

Five o’clock never comes fast enough, especially during the warm months.  Luckily, you still have four more hours of sunshine to sip and sup these days when you’re done with your day.

Try something new for happy hour at two already-loved locations:
Cantina’s upping the cocktail ante with their newest Peruvian spirit, Pisco.  Just make sure you drink it with a Lima.  Located at 580 Sutter Street, 415/398-0195.

Meanwhile, San Fran’s newest love, Frances, is premiering a new, green technology to help you pay for a beer and get… a glass of wine on tap.  Start with a pitcher full, and pay as you go.  Or better yet, find a man at the Bachelor Auction to pay for you.  What a Diva doesn’t drink, he won’t need to pay for.  (And at $1 per ounce, he won’t care!)  Located at 3870 17th Street, 415/621-3870.

For weekend trips to the Peninsula, take your fam to Café Renzo.  They may be new to Palo Alto (May 25 was the grand opening), but not to the fabulous feasts of Italia.  Portions are large, prices decent, and the service is stellar. Located at 473 University Ave, 650/329-8300.

Summer, summer, summer time.
