The City Diva’s Jaunt… To Yountville

Who: Posse Oenophile and wine-derful you

What: The perfect winter wine down….

Wine: Right now! What noir you waiting for?

Where: One of the nicest things about living in San Fran is having Napa in your backyard.  And since no one does fine dining like you, what better Valley destination than its culinary epicenter, Yountville?  With restaurants owned by celeb chefs Richard Reddington, Thomas Keller AND Michael Chiarello – many with Michelin stars, and all within walking distance – you can’t get much better.  We recommend Bottega, but keep your eyes out for Vita, opening soon.

Why: Because a Diva’s all about options.  Spend your day in Oakville, Rutherford or St. Helena — all are equidistant from Yountville.  When you’re wined out, a nap is only minutes away, and then you can resume sippin’.  Boutique shopping, killer tasting rooms and bocci ball courts are available, too.

How: As if you even need to ask.  Bardessono is Napa’s newest in green ultra luxe, and hosts a rooftop pool party every Wednesday in the summer.  Or stay on a more cost-effective track at the Napa Valley Railway Inn – each room is a refurbished 100-year old train car.

It’s called noiR & noiR.
